Free kit lens with DSLR will this work?
Or spend more money to buy any other lens?
Telephoto or Wide Angle, Fast or Slow, Prime or Zoom? There will be thousands of such questions on the head. So what most people do is buy a zoom lens without understanding anything! This is my video for today,
Those who can not understand what to buy a lens.
Zoom lens
This is a lens with which you can change the focal length in a range. For example, Nicon's most common kit lens in the market is Nikon 18-55mm f / 3.5-5.6. That means you can make the focal length minimum 18 mm and maximum 55 mm. Now the question is 18mm, how would you look? Then it will be like a wide angle lens. If you take a picture of London Bridge on 18 mm, it would be like this
And if you take pictures in 55 mm it will be telephoto lens, Chhabita will see a lot like this
The advantage of using the zoom lens is that it allows you to easily change composition or perspective. Suppose a child wants to take pictures, but he is playing. If you have a zoom lens, you can get the desired image from zoom in zoom. And zoom lens is the only hope for journalists. Generally there are zoom lenses in Point and Cottage rooms, so we all know about using zoom more or less, so that it can be made up of all the things. now
The new thing is new to the technical definition: Zoom is a lens whose focal length can be changed.
Prime Lens
Now come on Prime Lens. The prime lens is the opposite of the zoom, that means its focal length is fixed, can not be changed. You can understand that in simple Bangla, you can not extend the distance. But people are still using Prime lenses, where Zoom has so much advantages? Because of the price, weight and speed of prime lens. A costly prime lens is usually capable of offering a high-end zoom lens equivalent or even better image quality! Apart from zoom, there is usually a large aperture in Prime lens. The advantage of being aperture is to enter more lights in the lens and you will get brilliant images in low altitudes, and you can find Shaleo Dhaftham Offfield for Bokeh. And the zoom lens is usually bigger and heavier, where the prime lens is much smaller and smaller in size. So if you put a prime lens in your DSLR then you will not have any
But how is that possible? The reason is simple, because the zoom lens is a matter of magnifying the focal length, there are various mechanisms inside it which can achieve your desired focal length by moving. But this is not a problem in Prime Lens and so it has a fixed lens inside it. So the price of Prime Lens is low, weight is low, small in size but quality is very good.
But by looking at the name of the lens, which one is the prime and which zoom lens? Nikon's most popular lens is Nikon 50mm f / 1.8. This is a prime lens. Notice, the name of the zoom lens was Nikon 18-55mm f / 3.5-5.6. The zoom has the same name as 18-55mm and this is just 50mm written. That means its focal length is fixed.
Notice this image. Suppose you have a 28-200mm zoom lens. If you take pictures in 28 mm, the whole scene will be captured in the frame. 28mm is at short focal length range. Apeximetale 30mm below the focal length, we say wide angle lens.
If you go to zoom a little bit, that means 28 mm to 50 mm, then a part of the picture will be missed, virtually you make things bigger.
In this way, if you go to 200 mm to increase the focal length, then only the door will be visible in the frame, that means you can zoom in the small berries of the distance. If we have the upper focal length of 50 mm then we call it the telephoto lens.
Think of it, if you have a 50 mm Prime Lens, you can find 50mm box-view in it. In zoom in, zoomed out can not do anything.
Again if you have a 200 mm prime then if you look at it, you will see that which is within 200 mm box. That means you will see everything in a big way, but you can not take pictures of near ones. Photographs from the National Geographic are the photos of the wildest creatures but with such a long folk line of prime, do not zoom! These are also called telephoto lenses.
Wide angle lens is the short focal length lens. For example, Nikon 10-24mm f / 3.5-4.5. Who is it to tell the lens? Since it's a 10-20mph, the focal length is changed so it's a zoom lens. But notice that its focal length but very short. 10 mm to 20 mm only. That means its range of focal length but inside the wide angle. So this is called wide angle zoom lens.
